Breeding
CORNELIS BP24
We are excited to announce that The Stunning Barock Pinto Studbook stallion Cornelis BP24 will be standing at Stud at Stonebrook Equestrian Center. More information on this amazing stallion can be found at www.cornelisbp.com
Our breeding program is simple and based on the most important aspect of breeding fine competition horses.......Always start with the mare!!!
We have established a small, but extremely successful breeding program by acknowledging that the mare will have a 75% influence on the offspring. We do our homework when choosing our girls and look far beyond gaits, conformation, and 1st generation pedigrees. We look back in the ancestry and find longstanding bloodlines that are renowned for producing specific traits, temperaments, and ridability. We actively research how these lines have crossed with other bloodlines and where success has occurred. Our philosophy follows the belief that impressive gaits and beauty will only get you so far if the horse does not possess the intelligence, willingness, and most importantly, the desire to please their rider. These are the qualities that in the end, make a horse stand out above all others. By treasuring these characteristics, we carefully choose "new" blood from Europe to cross with our outstanding mares, creating offspring that any rider would be proud to have. Please take a look at some of our offspring and see for yourself how "tried and true" never goes out of style.

Farakai
2010 blessed us with a beautiful baby girl! Our mare Rubina crossed so well with the Florestan line previously, that we couldn't wait to do it again. This time we choose the tall, elegant Stallion, Farwell III http://www.superiorequinesires.com/stallions/farewell%20iii.shtml. And we could not have been happier with the results!
Registered with the German Oldenburg Verband and a Premium filly at her inspection, Farakai has matured into a tall, athletic, and immensely talented mare with refinement and an exceptional disposition. She is delightfully sensitive, nicely forward and has 3 quality, easy-to-ride gaits. Her outstanding trainability and rideability indicates she will become an exceptional partner for an amateur rider. Fara is flourishing under saddle and is well on her way to demonstrating her performance potential. She traveled to her first show with Claudia when she was just 4yrs old and was a rock star! She only went to school, but was so focused that we ended up putting her in a Training Level class where she Received a 68%.
In addition to her riding career, Fara has also already been accepted into the studbook for the American Hanoverian Society. They had such positive comments about her uphill movement and hind end engagement. We look forward to watching this beautiful lady develop through the levels.

Shanadore
Sired by GOV Sempatico out of MMB Hanoverian Mare Rubina
In my lifetime, I don't think I will ever breed another baby as sweet as this big boy. Not only does he have presence, big gaits, and athleticism, but he truly does have a heart of gold!
I have always loved horses of color. I learned to ride on a Registered Paint gelding and my first horse was a Buckskin. I think in the future they really will find a link to color and temperament. At least my experiences with these "off" colored Warmbloods, has always been so positive. So, I decided to breed one for myself........and I couldn't have been happier!
Shane was a BIG boy. Its a good thing he was a sweet. As a two year old he stood 16.2hds. I knew he was going to be almost, if not, 18hds. But this gentle giant won everyone's heart. He'd follow you around the pasture, rest his head on your shoulder in his stall. We never had to "train" him to do anything. We just showed him what we wanted and waited patiently. As soon as he figured it out...he had it.....forever. The first time I ever bathed him, I ended up standing behind this 16+ butt trying to get his tail sparkling white when it dawned on me.......I had my head pretty much in between this baby's hind legs! But he never moved. He snorted at the water a few times and that was it. And then the free jumping video.........I could not believe this boy. I've had horses balk at the chute, crash through the poles, jump out the sides, spin and gallop off. Well, not Shane. I walked him through the poles one time. Then I jogged through them once with him. The next time I jogged up with him and let him got. He went straight through like a saint, cantered quietly up to my groom, stopped and put his head down to her! He loved it! By the 3rd attempt, I was asking his to wait, he was so happy to play over those fences.
Shane and his new owner, Virginia, are a perfect match! I could not have dreamt up a finer combination. We look forward to seeing the two progress together as a team! Virginia Has already updated me that after having been under saddle for only 1 month, they attended their first show together! How wonderful!

Rubina
***Proven Producer of Champion Foals!***
2001 MMB Hanoverian Mare
16.2 hds
Confirmed in foal to Danciano for 2015
A perfect union of classical dressage and jumping bloodlines, her pedigree boasts such familiar names as Cor de la Bryere, Pik Solo, Ramiro Z, Calypso II, Ladykiller, and Pik Koenig. She was the winner of her inspection out of 25 other foals and Ruby's foals have followed in her footsteps. At the 2005 Hanoverian inspection, her first foal by Diamond Hit, was chosen as one of the site's champion foals. The judges raved about his modern type and bold, expressive gaits. And her following foals continued to impress, earning premium awards with the German Oldenburg Verband.
Rubina would make a valuable addition to any breeding program that strives to produce top quality performance horses. She is a true gem to work with and handle, an excellent mother, and an exceptionally easy breeder. She settles on her first cycle with one dose of frozen semen. Fully approved with both AHS and GOV and eligible for upgrade to Elite status with the Hanoverian Society.
Ruby has also been trained undersaddle and could also pursue a career as a riding horse.
Rubina is currently available for purchase and can be moved to her new home after this year's foal is inspected and weaned. We will be happy to assist in rebreeding her to the stallion of your choice and cover her care and expenses while she is with this years' foal.
